Feltcraft, an old creative art, is being revived in many schools and homes. Felt, is a durable, flexible material made from recycled woolen scraps. Because it does not fray, it is ideal for children to work with. Traditionally, it is used for making small dolls, finger and glove puppets, animals, finger bands, wrist bands, little gifts, and even wall tapestries. It can also be used for decorating other objects, such as cushions. It is available in many bright colors from most craft and sewing shops.
